Automotive Brake Solutions – Your source for specialty hardware, caliper rebuild kits, and brake service parts for late model performance and enthusiast applications, as well as expertly remanufactured calipers for early Porsche and british applications. For OEM replacement parts, please use the dropdown catalog above. See below for everything else. More parts are being added every day. If you don’t find what you need, send us a message or give us a call…if it exists, we have it or we can get it. If it doesn’t exist, we can probably make it.

PMB Performance – In 2004 PMB Performance started with a single pair of Porsche 914 rear calipers. There was a need… that need was filled. Those calipers sold in 15 minutes and the rest is history.

Actually, it began in 1975, with Eric Shea turning wrenches on rusty VW’s in a cold Michigan garage. After saving, rebuilding and restoring countless VW Beetles and Type 1 motors the progression to a Porsche 914 came naturally. And of course, if you’re a Porsche owner, a 911 is next on your list of must haves. “Car Guys” (and Gals) at heart, if it has four wheels, chances are we’ll find something to love about it.

After restoring a number of Porsche 911’s and 914-6’s (our previous -6 landed a spot in the Porsche museum at Silverstone in the UK), we became intimately familiar with the plating processes and knew what was needed to make a top-notch restoration of the various mechanical bits and pieces (read: brake calipers). We put that knowledge to use “filling that need” for perfectly restored brake calipers. That’s why we say “We don’t rebuild… we restore” and for good reason.

Caliper HQ or CHQ – CHQ specializes in vintage European caliper restoration, rebuilding each caliper to its original fit and function for some of the most scrutinizing customers in the country. While this is our passion, we can and do rebuild calipers for any vehicle make or model, import or domestic, new or old. With over 75 combined years in aftermarket remanufacturing for some of the biggest names in the aftermarket Dan Mendez and Graem Elliott created Caliper HQ, a new way to provide remanufactured brake calipers to the industry with a level of quality and service not available anywhere in the aftermarket.

Classic Car Brakes – In the UK, our remanufacturing process allows us to refurbish units that are no longer available and is often more cost effective than replacements. Remanufacturing is environmentally friendly. By re-using an already manufactured part we use only 20% of the energy it takes to create a new brake calliper.

We specialise in Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Alfa, Lotus, Maserati, Volvo, Triumph, Sunbeam, Morgan, Mercedes, Jensen, Ford, TVR, Ferrari, Bristol, Austin Healey, AC, Gordon Keeble, Mini Cooper & many more…
